“I met creative and fearless women, bought my first film camera, decided to stay an extra 3 weeks, ate an uncomfortable amount of tacos and discovered a love for women artisans around Mexico. Bringing women together is magic, it goes without saying Women Photo Tours was a special experience.”

I was part of the most creative and inspiring group of women I could have imagined traveling with. I am forever grateful for this trip and the magic I experienced here. I literally think about it every day and want to go back so bad. If you’ve been on this trip, you feel me. It opened my eyes to the beauty of Central America, sparked a new creative fire within my wedding work, and allowed me to share space with some extremely talented/silly/vulnerable/kind/hella cute fellow female photographers who are FFL (friends for life).

This Ibiza trip was my second trip with Amanda and I'm already planning my next! The pace of these trips is so well planned out that they are both relaxing and invigorating. From sampling local food, to meeting local artists, to exploring the island's beaches and hikes, to photoshoots in stunning locations, this trip had it all. Thank you Amanda for bringing such great groups of creative women together for weeks of travel and inspiration! Don't stop!

I almost didn't come on this trip. I talked myself out of it several times. I am not a photographer. I am not a ‘group tour’ traveler. I have always wanted to visit Cuba, but only if I could go beyond the sanitized tourist version. Thank you Women Photo Tours for exceeding all my expectations. Thank you to the incredible women I traveled with, who helped me embrace more of myself, including as a creative.

Women's Photo Tours is one of those examples of someone's vision coming to life, being nurtured, and evolving in the most amazing way. Amanda brings women together in a way that is not only memorable, but authentic, which makes the world of a difference for creative minds. The trip was life changing and so re-invigorating. I have always loved travel and street photography, but I don’t have a lot of other friends in this realm of photography. Meeting other women who were curious, creative, and open while being in such a magical place with kind people, amazing food and sights, was the most refreshing thing I could have done for my art practice. I've become good friends with many of the women and our trip holds a special place in my heart.

This trip became a profound reconnection with my craft. I captured scenes that stirred my soul, without any external pressures. It reignited my creative spark and reminded me why I fell in love with photography in the first place.
